Blackjack and the card counting system

There are various topics regarding the ethics of card counting systems. Also, there are some people that believe that card counting is not possible when playing online Blackjack, that this method can be applied only to Blackjack played in land based casinos.

Well, well … here my dear reader, I come and turn all your old beliefs upside down and let you know one thing: It is possible! Especially with sites that give you a clear history of your played hands. Easy, ha? I bet you never thought – or maybe you did – to use the history of hands in your advantage.

This will give you a clear idea of your game performance also of what cards were in stake.
What do card counters actually do?
Well, card counters, actually, evaluate their wins and looses, not necessarily with the help of a card counting analysis screen. Whether you are winning or loosing, the hands history is indeed very useful, not only in order to monitor your past games but also to predict the probability of having certain cards in the future.

While analyzing my game on my favorite gambling site, I could see where I did wrong, like when I had hands containing low cards that were clumped behind the shuffled ones. I could see when I should have been more aggressive and when I should have passed.

Well, I guess the old wise saying “you need to look to the past in order to see the future” is true!

Digg!
